A Family Tradition - a brief history of Cappuccino's

In 1990, the family opened their first Italian pizzeria in Pretoria which soon became a neighbourhood favourite for its exceptionally fresh food and authentic Italian fare, including homemade cakes, imported foods, delicious pizza and mouth-watering pasta.

The quality of the food was surpassed only by the family's extraordinary passion for their guests that continues to translate into the highest standards of customer service today. The success of the original led to the opening of more Cappuccino’s restaurants throughout South Africa. In 2000 Cappuccino’s opened its first mall-based restaurant in Pretoria’s Menlyn Park Shopping Centre, marking the birth of the modern Cappuccino’s concept: delicious, fresh and authentic Italian food in a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere with excellent service.

Over the last eleven years, the Menlyn Centre business model has been replicated some sixteen times - helping Cappuccino’s expand throughout the country.
